Let’s go back in time to wednesday night. Shoreditch, Les Trois Garcons and 8 dishes a la French nirvana (or something?!)
Luckily I didn’t have to choose from the menu as we went for the tasting menu and got to try a little of everything.
Amuse Bouche – Horseradish mousse
Foie Gras with toasted brioche and caramelised fig
Seared Scallops with artichoke and chestnut gratin, kumquat chutney and roe crackers. Deux Points!
Salmon with pomme dauphin, red wine braised salsify, samphire and champagne butter sauce
Spiced venison fillet, braised venison won tons, potato rosti and beetroot puree
After the venison we had Mulled Wine Sorbet which disappeared faster than a human being can take a picture
Frozen coconut Nougat with passion fruit coulis
Petits-Fours (Very skeptical about the truffel macaroon. When you think you’re about to eat vanilla or something else sweet and you get truffel it’s not your best experience!)
I wanted to eat this dog as well! He was so cute but wasn’t included in the tasting menu…
I think everybody should have the opportunity to visit the Three Boys. Suitable for dates, girls night outs or to celebrate a friend who just became a doctor of physics!
