Last weekend I went to the Scandinavia Show at Earls Court here in London. It was a mix of designers, restaurants, stores and travel companies. I’ve been home to Sweden quite recently so I didn’t get too excited but my friends went crazy with the chocolate, cider, gravad lax and Northern Lights.
I haven’t been to that many Scandinavian eateries here (I feel like my friends cook the food 10 times better) but if you would like to try it out these are the most famous ones:
Madsen (Fine Dining – South Kensington)
Fika (Easy Dining – Brick Lane)
Scandinavian Kitchen (Deli and Groceries – Close to Oxford Circus)
Nordic Bakery (Coffee Place – SoHo)
And the one I am most curious on: Stockholm Restaurant and Deli. This place opened in August and is located in East Sheen, close to Richmond. I would really like to try their Reindeer Carpaccio and Cream of Crayfish soup with cheese fleuron.
Hello – thank you for your nice post. Good to hear you enjoyed the show. We look forward to seeing you at the cafe in Great Titchfield Street soon. Bye for now, The kitchen people at Scandi Kitchen xxx
